AYSA Execution
AI Optimization
AI Optimization is a governed improvement cycle for an AI-assisted SEO or content workflow with a declared objective, baseline, constraints and evaluation set.
What it means
Within this glossary, the term does not mean improving artificial intelligence universally. The optimized object may combine a model, prompts, retrieval, rules, tools and human review; quality, safety, latency, cost and operational risk are evaluated together before an approved change is deployed.
Why it matters
A workflow-level definition gives ambiguous AI initiatives an owner, measurable target and rollback instead of rewarding impressive but unverified output.
Example
An AI-assisted content brief workflow is baselined for factual support, editor acceptance, turnaround time and cost, then retrieval evidence is added and compared on the same briefs.
Common mistakes
Do not optimize an undefined system, choose metrics after seeing results, hide human corrections, trade safety for eloquence, generalize from demos or claim legal certification.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
workflow version, objective, baseline, eval set, quality, safety, latency, cost, human correction
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can identify undefined objectives, cherry-picked demos, hidden corrections and changes released without rollback evidence.
Recommendation prepared
The plan fixes the baseline and acceptance rules before one controlled workflow change is prepared.
Approval preview
The reviewer sees inputs, evaluation cases, constraints, expected tradeoffs, rollback and legal checkpoint.
Execution
AYSA can apply approved changes to supported publisher-owned workflows; external models and services retain their own controls.
Verification
The same evaluation set compares baseline and candidate, with regressions and human corrections preserved.
Limits
The evidence is workflow- and evaluation-bound; it does not automatically certify AI Act or legal compliance, and applicable Article 50 duties require a separate role-and-use assessment from 2 August 2026.
