AI Visibility
AI Generated Content
AI-generated content is text, audio, image, video or other material produced by a generative AI system from input instructions or data.
What it means
The label describes production, not truth, usefulness, ownership or legal status. A human may select or edit the result, but source validation, rights, privacy, destination policies and any applicable marking or labelling decision still require separate evidence.
Why it matters
Generated material can be useful, but it can also reproduce errors, invent details or obscure its origin at scale. Google does not prohibit useful AI content as a category; scaled, low-value production intended to manipulate rankings violates its spam policy.
Example
A model drafts a comparison table from approved product specifications. An editor rejects two unsupported rows, cites the remaining facts, records the substantial AI use and makes the destination-specific transparency decision before publication.
Common mistakes
Do not assume AI content is automatically spam, automatically copyright-safe or always subject to one disclosure rule. Under Article 50, obligations vary by provider or deployer role, system, content and use, with exceptions including some standard editing assistance.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
generated passage or asset, source record, review change, destination, transparency decision
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can identify supported drafts with missing sources, unsupported claims or no recorded approval and transparency decision.
Recommendation prepared
The proposal corrects, rejects or clearly contextualises the generated material before any publication action.
Approval preview
The user sees the generated contribution, evidence, reviewer changes, destination rules and exact final version.
Execution
AYSA can publish approved WordPress content within scope; it does not certify rights or universal AI Act compliance.
Verification
AYSA confirms the approved version, visible context, metadata, links and source records after publication.
Limits
AYSA cannot guarantee accuracy, ranking, citation, rights clearance or legal sufficiency from generation metadata alone.

Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
Is AI-generated content automatically against Google Search policies?
No. Google focuses on usefulness and intent; scaled low-value content created to manipulate rankings is the policy problem.
Must every AI-assisted edit receive an AI label under the EU AI Act?
No. Article 50 is role-, system-, content- and use-specific, and the Commission identifies exceptions including some standard editing assistance.
