Technical SEO
Core Web Vitals
Core Web Vitals are Google's current field-oriented metrics for loading performance, interaction responsiveness and visual stability: LCP, INP and CLS.
What it means
The metrics summarize distinct parts of a real page experience. Largest Contentful Paint measures main-content loading, Interaction to Next Paint measures interaction latency through the next visual update, and Cumulative Layout Shift measures unexpected visual movement. Assessment normally uses the 75th percentile, separated for mobile and desktop.
Why it matters
Core Web Vitals provide shared thresholds for finding experience problems across page groups, but they do not describe every aspect of quality or guarantee rankings. Search relevance remains primary, while slow or unstable pages can still frustrate users and weaken otherwise useful journeys.
Example
A template can pass LCP at 2.2 seconds and CLS at 0.06 yet fail INP at 620 milliseconds because a product filter runs a long JavaScript task. The correct action is interaction profiling, not more image Compression aimed at the already healthy loading metric.
Common mistakes
Do not average mobile and desktop, treat a lab score as identical to Chrome field data or optimize one metric without tracing its cause. FID is no longer a current Core Web Vital, and TTFB or FCP remain supporting diagnostics.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
CrUX or Search Console field groups, LCP, INP, CLS, template and device segment
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can identify failing page groups and separate loading, responsiveness and stability symptoms before recommending a technical investigation.
Recommendation prepared
The proposal prioritizes the affected template, names the failing metric and links it to observable resources, tasks or layout events.
Approval preview
The user reviews field coverage, representative URLs, diagnostic evidence and the exact proposed changes before approval.
Execution
AYSA can apply approved WordPress asset, markup and template changes that its integration supports; application or infrastructure work may require a developer.
Verification
AYSA repeats laboratory traces immediately and monitors later field data without presenting the lab result as a substitute.
Limits
AYSA cannot force external field-data refreshes, guarantee rankings or attribute sparse CrUX groups to one page without supporting evidence.
