Google Knowledge Graph
Google Knowledge Graph is Google's system and database of facts about entities such as people, places and things, used to surface factual information when Google determines it is useful.
What it means
Google says its facts come from public sources, licensed data and information supplied by content owners. Knowledge panels are automatically generated Search displays that may present Knowledge graph information; a panel is not the entire graph.
Why it matters
Publishers can improve accurate public evidence, submit feedback and use eligible verification paths, but they do not receive general write access to Google's database or control when a panel appears.
Example
An official representative claims an existing Knowledge Panel and suggests a corrected profile link. Google reviews the feedback; the representative does not directly edit a graph record.
Common mistakes
Do not promise creation of a panel, equate Organization markup with graph ownership or describe the public Knowledge graph Search API as unrestricted edit access.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
public source, knowledge-panel capture, claimed-panel status, official feedback path, source inconsistency
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can identify conflicts between owned public evidence and a captured Google display or unsupported website markup.
Recommendation prepared
The proposal corrects the authoritative website source and documents the applicable Google verification or feedback path.
Approval preview
The user sees the captured display, source evidence, proposed website change and actions that remain under Google's control.
Execution
AYSA can apply approved WordPress-source and supported structured-data corrections; it cannot edit Google's graph directly.
Verification
AYSA recrawls the source and records later display observations without claiming that one change caused Google's selection.
Limits
AYSA cannot create, force or guarantee a knowledge panel, graph fact, ranking or external entity interpretation.
