Keyword Validation

Keyword validation is the documented review that determines whether a discovered query deserves mapping, content work, monitoring or no action.

What it means

A defensible check combines source and locale, observed or estimated demand, intent, current results, existing coverage, business relevance and uncertainty. Passing does not automatically require a new page.

Why it matters

Validation prevents raw tool suggestions from becoming unsupported production work. It also records why a query was rejected, deferred or assigned to an existing protected URL.

Example

A high-volume phrase fails because the company does not provide the requested service; a lower-volume query passes because Search Console evidence and customer questions support an existing guide update.

Common mistakes

Do not validate with one metric, confuse a competitor ranking with audience value or discard protected URLs without traffic and Backlink evidence. Preserve the decision record and date.

How AYSA handles this

Signals reviewed

query source, locale, demand evidence, SERP intent, existing URLs, business fit

Problem AYSA can identify

AYSA can identify missing evidence, conflicting intent, duplicate destinations and opportunities outside the offering.

Recommendation prepared

The proposal assigns REWRITE, EXPAND, MAP, MONITOR or NO ACTION with evidence and a stated limitation.

Approval preview

The user reviews every signal, candidate URL, rejected alternative and protected-URL impact before approval.

Execution

AYSA can record the approved decision and queue only the separately approved WordPress work it supports.

Verification

AYSA checks the final mapping, published destination and retained evidence after execution.

Limits

AYSA cannot guarantee demand, ranking or conversion and will not remove protected URLs without required external evidence.
