Topical Entity
Topical entity is a non-standard label for an identified entity used as an anchor or subject within a defined content topic, taxonomy or analysis.
What it means
The entity remains a person, organization, place, product or concept; topical describes its role in a particular collection. A topic association may be editorial, statistical or graph-based and needs its own evidence and scope.
Why it matters
Explicit topic associations can support navigation and corpus analysis, but they can also turn incidental mentions into misleading claims that an entity is central or authoritative for the topic.
Example
A climate-policy collection treats the European Commission as a topical entity only where documents substantively concern its policies, not whenever the name appears in a footer.
Common mistakes
Do not infer topical authority from mention count, merge a topic label with an entity identifier or present Topical Entity as a documented Google ranking object.

AYSA can flag owned topic mappings based only on incidental mentions or ambiguous entity names.

The user reviews the topic boundary, entity record, supporting passages and proposed mapping.
Execution
AYSA can apply approved taxonomy, internal-link or supported structured-data changes on connected WordPress sites.
Verification
AYSA recrawls affected pages and confirms that the topic association remains supported and non-orphaned.
Limits
AYSA cannot turn a topical association into external authority or a guaranteed search classification.
