Entity Optimization
Entity optimization is a non-standard label for correcting and strengthening the owned evidence that identifies a specific entity and describes its relevant facts and relationships.
What it means
The work may align names, stable identifiers, canonical pages, visible facts and supported Structured data. It optimizes the publisher's representations, not a hidden record inside Google or another external system.
Why it matters
Contradictory identities can cause users, feeds and downstream tools to merge namesakes or show stale details. Accurate, source-backed corrections are useful even when no external search feature changes.
Example
A company updates its legal name, official URL and logo on the homepage, removes an unrelated sameAs link and keeps the old trading name as an alternate name with provenance.
Common mistakes
Do not add unsupported identifiers, overwrite legal and brand roles, hide contradictions only in markup or claim direct control over an external Knowledge graph.

The proposal changes only source-backed facts, preserves aliases where appropriate and removes unsafe identity assertions.
Approval preview
The user sees the original and proposed values, evidence, affected templates and rollback representation.
Execution
AYSA can apply approved WordPress and supported structured-data corrections on connected owned properties.
Verification
AYSA validates the rendered facts, graph identifiers and canonical pages after the approved deployment.
Limits

Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
Can a website optimize an entity directly inside Google?
No. A publisher can improve owned evidence and use documented feedback paths, but it does not receive general write access to Google's internal records.
Is adding more structured-data properties always better?
No. Google recommends complete and accurate relevant properties rather than a larger set of weak or unsupported claims.
