Entity Clarity
Entity clarity is an owned quality check for whether a page identifies its important people, organizations, products, places or concepts without unresolved ambiguity.
What it means
It can be reviewed through stable identifiers, explicit names and roles, a clear primary subject, consistent facts and safe relationships. No standard Google Entity Clarity metric exists, so any internal score must publish its rubric.
Why it matters
Low clarity can merge namesakes, confuse a product with its manufacturer or leave readers unsure which subject a claim describes. A transparent rubric makes those defects actionable without claiming insight into private search models.
Example
A review page names the product model, manufacturer and reviewer separately, links the canonical product resource and marks the Product as the subject rather than the review article itself.
Common mistakes
Do not count repeated names as clarity, assign one identifier to distinct entities, hide the rubric or report an internal score as a Google metric.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
primary entity, stable identifier, explicit role, fact consistency, relationship validation
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can score supplied owned pages against a disclosed clarity rubric and show the exact failed checks.
Recommendation prepared
The proposal separates ambiguous entities, states roles and aligns the primary subject across visible content and supported markup.
Approval preview
The user sees the rubric, evidence for each check, proposed corrections and the recalculated internal result.
Execution
AYSA can apply approved identity, role and structured-data corrections on connected owned pages.
Verification
AYSA reruns the same published checks after deployment and preserves before-and-after evidence.
Limits
The score is an AYSA quality control, not a Google metric and not a prediction or guarantee of ranking.

Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
Is Entity Clarity a Google Search Console metric?
No. It is an internal review dimension unless a specific tool publishes and documents its own scoring rubric.
Can structured data fix unclear visible content?
No. Markup should agree with the page; it should not be used to conceal ambiguity or unsupported facts.
