FAQ schema
FAQ schema uses FAQPage with Question and acceptedAnswer nodes to describe questions answered authoritatively by one site.
What it means
The questions and answers must be visible on the page and authored by the publisher rather than submitted as a user forum. Google now shows FAQ Rich results mainly for well-known authoritative government and health sites, so most sites should expect no regular visual enhancement.
Why it matters
The vocabulary can still express page structure for compatible consumers, but adding repetitive generated questions solely for coverage reduces usefulness. The decision should begin with real audience needs, not the former size of a Google result.
Example
A public health agency marks up three visible policy questions whose answers match the page exactly. A software glossary with no genuine recurring questions emits no FAQ section or FAQPage graph.
Common mistakes
Do not hide answers, generate circular questions or apply FAQPage to user-submitted answers. Avoid promising a Google FAQ rich result to an ordinary commercial site under the current restrictions.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
Visible questions, answer parity, FAQPage graph, page purpose, site eligibility
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can find hidden, duplicated, generated or user-submitted content incorrectly represented as publisher FAQ answers.
Recommendation prepared
The proposal retains only useful visible questions and omits FAQPage when no legitimate consumer benefit remains.
Approval preview
The user reviews every question, answer, visible source and eligibility limitation before approval.
Execution
AYSA can update supported WordPress FAQ content and schema; it does not create filler questions solely for search coverage.
Verification
AYSA confirms visible parity, one graph, valid Question relationships and absence of duplicate FAQ output.
Limits
AYSA cannot make an ineligible site receive a Google FAQ rich result or guarantee another consumer uses the vocabulary.
