SEO Basics

Rich results

Rich results are Google Search results that may include visual or interactive enhancements beyond a standard blue-link presentation.

What it means

Enhancements vary by supported feature and can include ratings, prices, availability, images, breadcrumbs or specialized layouts. Structured data commonly establishes eligibility, but each feature has its own required properties and policies.

Why it matters

A richer presentation can change how a result communicates relevance and useful facts before a click. Eligibility does not mean the enhancement will appear for every query, device, country or indexed version.

Example

A valid product page may be eligible to show price, stock status and ratings, while Google chooses a plain result for another query. The underlying page remains indexable in both cases.

Common mistakes

Do not use rich result, Featured snippet and Knowledge Panel as interchangeable labels. Avoid promising higher rankings or display merely because a validator reports valid items.

Problem AYSA can identify

AYSA can distinguish unsupported markup from eligible items, policy conflicts and production pages Google has not processed as expected.

Recommendation prepared

The proposal maps the page to a supported feature and prioritizes missing or contradictory fields that affect eligibility.

Approval preview

The user sees affected templates, expected enhancement, evidence and the absence of any display guarantee.

Execution

AYSA can implement approved supported markup where the CMS and authoritative data source are connected.

Verification

AYSA validates rendered pages and compares Search Console enhancement and performance evidence over time.

Limits

AYSA cannot choose Google's search presentation, ranking or query-specific feature selection.
