Local SEO
Local Search Query
A local search query is a request whose useful results depend materially on a place, service area, proximity or the searcher's current location.
What it means
Local intent may be explicit through a city, district or `near me` phrase, or implicit in categories such as restaurants and emergency services. The same wording can require different results in different locations.
Why it matters
Recognizing place dependence guides business-detail accuracy, location-page selection and local result Monitoring. It does not justify manufacturing pages for every town where the business has no verifiable presence or service.
Example
`emergency plumber Cluj` names the market directly; a mobile search for `pharmacy open now` can still be local because usefulness depends on nearby availability.
Common mistakes
Do not require a place name before recognizing Local intent, confuse service area with a physical branch or publish unsupported city pages. Verify address, coverage and opening information.
