Site migration
A Site migration is a controlled transition of a website's public URLs, domain, protocol, hosting infrastructure or platform from one operational state to another.
What it means
A hosting move can preserve visible URLs, while a domain, protocol or route change needs an old-to-new URL mapping and redirects.
