Generative result

A generative result is the complete observable product result that contains generated content together with its visible labels, links, controls and state for one interaction.

What it means

The result boundary is broader than a Generative answer: it can include the answer, Source panel, warnings, follow-up controls, loading or refusal state and adjacent product labels. It remains narrower than the whole page or session. Provider, product, query, locale, account state, device and timestamp are required because presentation can vary.

Why it matters

A stable result boundary makes interface comparisons reproducible without treating one answer fragment as the complete product response.

Example

A capture includes the generated response, supporting-link panel, disclaimer and follow-up button for one Google or Bing interaction while excluding unrelated navigation and later conversation turns.

Common mistakes

Do not crop away labels or warnings, merge several turns, call the whole page a result, infer private ranking, compare incompatible states or treat one capture as permanent.

How AYSA handles this

Signals reviewed

provider, product, query, locale, device, account state, result boundary, labels, controls, timestamp

Problem AYSA can identify

AYSA can identify cropped result evidence, mixed conversation turns, missing provider context and answer fragments reported as full results.

Recommendation prepared

The workflow defines an include-and-exclude boundary and a state vocabulary before captures are compared.

Approval preview

The reviewer sees the full capture, boundary rule, context, missing states, source objects and prohibited private-system inferences.

Execution

AYSA can capture supported public result states; it cannot control or inspect the provider's private generation and selection systems.

Verification

New interactions append independent states and preserve interface-version changes.

Limits

Result evidence is sample-bound, and monitoring or review does not automatically certify AI Act or legal compliance.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Is a generative result the same as a generative answer?

No. The answer is one text object; the result includes its visible product context and states.

Does one generative-result capture establish permanent visibility?

No. It records one interaction under declared conditions.
