Query report
A query report is a dated dataset that groups search-performance metrics by query under documented filters, dimensions and aggregation rules.
What it means
A Search Console query report can include Clicks, Impressions, CTR and Average position, optionally segmented by page, country, device, date or search appearance. Returned rows are subject to platform limits.
Why it matters
A documented report lets analysts reproduce comparisons and understand missing rows, anonymization and canonical aggregation. A screenshot or unlabeled export cannot establish the same evidence contract.
Example
A monthly report groups web results by query and page for Romania, records the property and date range, and retains zero-row and privacy limitations beside the exported data.
Common mistakes
Do not call chart totals a complete query list, mix property and page aggregation or omit filters and timezone context. Avoid treating missing rows as zero demand.
How AYSA handles this
Signals reviewed
property, date range, search type, dimensions, filters, returned rows
Problem AYSA can identify
AYSA can flag undocumented exports, incompatible aggregations and reports that imply complete query coverage.
Recommendation prepared
The proposal stores the full request contract with raw rows and an explicit limitation note.
Approval preview
The user reviews scope, filters, expected columns and privacy limitations before the report runs.
Execution
AYSA can generate an approved report from connected data and store it without changing site content.
Verification
AYSA checks row schema, request parameters, totals and reproducibility against the recorded contract.
Limits
AYSA cannot recover anonymized queries or bypass Search Console's data and row limitations.

Quick answers
Frequently asked questions
Does a Search Console query report contain every query?
